Hastings Flea Hosts Summer Fun Sunday
HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – This month's event at the Hastings Flea will take place this Sunday, and this time Hastings merchants are joining in with their own sidewalk sales in conjunction with the Flea's festivities.
The Flea's market will feature furniture, antiques, vintage, yoga, crafts for kids, chess, live music, and food and drink from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Joining in the fun this month are a handful of Hastings' downtown merchants from noon to 5 p.m.

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Ted M. Levine, a longtime resident of Rye, died on Thursday, August 6. He was 88.
Levine was born on March 8, 1927, in New York City, graduating from Cornell University and New York University.

NORWALK, Conn. – Sylvia Norkin, formerly of Norwalk and Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, Aug. 5. She was 94.
Norkin was born on Jan. 20, 1921, in Springfield, Mass. to Abraham and Rebecca Goldring.
She was a longtime Norwalk resident who worked for the Norwalk Public School System, retiring as the Budget Director for the Board of Education in 1981.
Norkin was predeceased by her husband, Irving.
