The four-session course begins Oct. 5 and meets Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The course covers business policy and procedures, marketing and advertising, land use regulations and other areas relevant to real estate brokers. It is one of the state mandated courses required to obtain a real estate broker’s license that became effective July 1, 2016.
Students must have completed and passed the 60-hour Principles and Practices course and served as a licensed salesperson for at least two years, taken a 30-hour elective course or show proof of 20 transactions in the past five years.
