Victim Hospitalized After Woman Throws Anti-Freeze In Dispute Over Parking, Greenwich PD Says

A Greenwich woman is facing reckless endangerment charges after allegedly throwing anti-freeze during a dispute over parking, causing the victim to need emergency medical care, police said.

Police were called to 110 Henry Street in Byram after hearing reports of an assault just before 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10. Upon further investigation, Andrea Torres-Nieto, 36, admitted to throwing anti-freeze at the victim during a parking dispute.

Police say witnesses corroborated the incident, and the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Torres-Nieto was arrested and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. She was released upon posting $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Monday, Dec. 24.
