Two Suspects Sought In Smash-And-Grab Burglary At Norwalk Deli

NORWALK, Conn., -- Norwalk Police Department detectives are searching for two male suspects who took part in a burglary on Monday, Jan. 11 at the Country Convenience Store on Newtown Avenue, said police.

According to police, the two men, wearing hooded sweatshirts, pulled up in front of the deli in a station wagon at 12:29 a.m. The driver removed a large rock from the vehicle and threw it through the front glass door to the store, police said. Both males then entered, stealing the cash register and multiple cartons of cigarettes before fleeing in the vehicle, according to police.
