NORWALK, Conn. — A power pole snapped and dropped its power lines after an accident late Wednesday afternoon on Spring Hill Avenue in Norwalk, police said.
A toppled power pole forced Norwalk police to close Spring Hill late Wednesday afternoon.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area near Nolan Street Extension near Riverside Cemetery.
Eversource was enroute to the accident scene.
