Rosetta Armstead was picked up on a warrant Wednesday at the Hudson County Correctional Facility and charged with larceny, conspiracy, reckless endangerment and a host of other charges, said the Greenwich Police.

Armstead of North Bergen was wanted for an Oct. 25, 2016, incident in which police responded to the store on a report of the theft of handbags by two women who appeared to be in their mid-20s, police said.

Store employees told police the women had fled the area in a newer model white Lexus sedan with a New Jersey tag, traveling south on Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich Police said.

At the same time, the women were fleeing a Greenwich police officer reported that the vehicle almost hit him at a traffic signal and then sped through the intersection.

The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but they managed to get away.

An investigation identified Armstead as one of the suspects and a warrant was obtained for her arrest, police said.

Following her arrest, Armstead posted a $75,000 surety bond and was released.
