Members of the Norwalk Police Department’s Detective Bureau launched an investigation into the armed robbery of the Exxon gas station on Connecticut Avenue on Sunday, Oct. 21. During that incident, an employee said that a suspect entered the station with a handgun and stole cash.

The investigation into the armed robbery led police to identify Norwalk resident Henry Euceda-Herrera as a suspect, and a warrant was issued. Euceda-Herrera was arrested on Oct. 25 by investigators.

While executing multiple search warrants associated with the investigation, police determined that Euceda-Herrera was also allegedly involved in the armed robbery of Metro PCS on South Main Street on Sept. 29; Budget Liquor on Main Avenue on Oct. 6 and the Shell gas station on Main Avenue on Oct. 14.

According to police, “detectives will be serving those arrest warrants in the coming days, bringing an end to a lengthy investigation.”

Euceda-Herrera was charged with robbery, larceny and illegal use of a firearm. He is currently being held in lieu of $250,000 bond. More charges are forthcoming. Euceda-Herrera is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
