NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police are searching for a suspect after a shopper at Stew Leonard’s reported that her purse had been stolen from her cart.

According to police, the Prada purse that was stolen at the Stew Leonard's in Norwalk was valued at $2,000 and contained credit cards, cash and a $4,800 Gucci wallet. They are seeking this man in the case.

The incident happened at the Westport Avenue store on Wednesday, Dec. 2, police said.

The Prada bag itself was worth $2,000, and the red Gucci wallet inside valued at $4,800, police said.

The wallet contained credit cards and an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The suspect left the store and drove off in a white four-door vehicle with a sunroof, police said.
