NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police are investigating after a local man walked into Norwalk Hospital on Tuesday with a gunshot wound to his leg, according to The Hour.
The man told police that he was shot in the area of Washington and Water Streets, but didn't provide additional information, said The Hour.
Another victim approached police officers at the hospital, saying they had been assaulted on Westport Avenue earlier Tuesday evening. That victim also suffered non-life threatening injuries during the attack, which The Hour said was apparently unrelated to the shooting.
Police are asking residents with any information about either incident, to call 203-854-3011 or the Norwalk Police Tip Line at 203-854-3111.
