Norwalk Police Ask For Help In Finding Subway Robbery Suspect

NORWALK, Conn. - Norwalk police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a Subway restaurant at 14 Belden Ave. on Monday.

The robber was described as a light-skinned black male who was wearing a white T-shirt and maroon-colored baseball hat with a red-colored T-shirt pulled over his head.

Police said he walked into the restaurant just before 6 p.m., threatened to kill the female clerk behind the counter, and stole $200 to 300 in cash from the restaurant’s register.

The suspect never displayed a weapon, and no injuries were reported.

In surveillance video obtained by police, it shows the suspect crossing the street before the robbery, and also shows him entering the restaurant.
