Eduardo Tsenkush, 39, was charged with disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint, interfering with an officer, criminal violation of a protective order and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He was held on a $1,000 bond and went to court Monday.
Police received a report from a 26-year-old woman Friday evening, Nov. 14, who said that she had been leaving the West Avenue restaurant where she works when Tsenkush showed up. She said that she went into the bathroom as she was leaving, and when she opened the door Tsenkush was standing there, police said. He blocked the door and pushed her back into the doorway, according to police reports. He then left the building.
Tsenkush was still on the scene sitting in his car when police arrived at the restaurant. The woman pointed his car out to the officers and police said Tsenkush looked at them as they approached and he sped off. Police got in their cars and searched the area for him, but were unable to locate him. A warrant was applied for his arrest, and he turned himself in Sunday, Nov. 16.
