NORWALK, Conn. -- Two brothers are both facing assault charges after a dispute over a deceased family cat turned into a bloody brawl in Norwalk that prompted an alert for area schools when one of the men thought a gun may be involved, according to The Hour.
Police arrested Kevin Bok, 45, of Norwalk and Keith Bok, 48, of Brookfield, Wednesday after responding to the fight at Kevin Bok's house on William Street in Norwalk, according to The Hour. Both men were treated and released at Norwalk Hospital, The Hour reported.
Police told The Hour that the incident began with an argument over the disposition of the family's deceased cat.
A Code Red Alert was issued for schools after it was mistakenly reported that one man had a gun, and the alert was later withdrawn, The Hour said.
