Gordon was born Sept. 5, 1952, in Syracuse, N.Y.; son of Florence Pelz Gordon and Franklin Gordon. He was a graduate of Brien McMahon High School and Bridgeport Engineering Institute. He worked as an electrical engineer for I.T.W and Trident, both in Brookfield, and for the past four years he was a private consultant and contractor. He was a longtime member of the American Radio Relay League.
Gordon is survived by his mother, Florence; daughter, Tiffany Steeves (Martin) of Norwalk; sister, Linda Bartlett (Kevin) of Weston; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Franklin.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
