NORWALK, CONN. - Clara Elizabeth DiMeglio, of Norwalk, died Monday, April 27 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 89.
DiMeglio was born in Mount Vernon to James and Esther (nee Stanton) Falcone, working at St. Joseph Parochial School and Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Carlo V. DiMeglio, and her 'grandson' Marco A. Monteiro.
She is survived by her daughter Theresa Tucci and her husband Peter of Norwalk, three grandchildren, Carla Monteiro-Walsh and her husband James, Trina Muro and her husband Brian and Peter Tucci and his wife Amy, eight great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Lillian DiMeglio and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m.Wednesday at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. in Norwalk.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk.
Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery.
