NORWALK, Conn. -- Bethann McCann Brown ,of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, May 31 at Norwalk Hospital in the arms of her strength, best friend and husband Jeff after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She profoundly influenced the lives of all who knew her caring and loving spirit.
She hailed from Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen Doyle McCann. She graduated summa cum laude from Purchase College. An advertising wiz, she worked for top agencies, including Deutsch and McCann/Erikson. She volunteered at Norwalk Community Hospital and St. Paul’s on the Green.
She was deeply loved and will be mourned by her devoted husband of 25 years, Jeff; faithful companion labs, Milo and Zoey; brothers, William, Gerard, Brian and Michael and their wives; in-law siblings, Wendy, Laurie, Dianne, Bill and Cathy and their husbands and wives; loving nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Bill, and a host of cousins and friends.
A celebration of her life will be conducted from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at Collin’s Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Paul’s on the Green or Macedonia Outreach Church in Norwalk.
