The grant was given at a a brief ceremony on June 12.

The initiative helps clients with financial support for the purchase of furniture and other household items.

Keystone Executive Director Valerie S. Williams used the example of a client who received money from the initiative.

After getting a twin bed set with a headboard, chair, television stand, kitchen cookware and cleaning supplies, Williams said the client told her 'I love my new bed and so happy that I don’t have to sleep in a chair anymore.'

This is the third year in a row that the Foundation has awarded Keystone a grant towards the organization's initiatives and services.
