Monroe Student Improving Trails, Signs For Eagle Scout Project

MONROE, Conn. — Thomas Shiskin, a member of Monroe Boy Scout Troop 62, is working on an Eagle Scout project to refurbish the signs and improve the Red and Purple Trails in Webb Mountain Park.

The Red and Purple Trails lead to the Goat Rock Lookout, which offers a panoramic view of the Housatonic River Valley. 

He recently accepted a check to fund his project. His Eagle Scout project is being supported by the Monroe Land Trust and Tree Conservancy.
