Grozinger, an attorney who grew up Ridgefield, "re-examines the assumption that free will is essential in faith,'' according to the book's website. "He concludes that far from being a source of anxiety or even a death sentence for faith, the idea that we do not have free will may be the instrument of its renewal."

Grozinger also blogs (click here) and said the book is a "labor of love." He graduated from The University of Toronto, St. Michael’s College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts specializing in philosophy.  In 1995, Stephan graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law having received the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law and having served as an Articles Editor on the Connecticut International Law Journal.

He formed a solo practice in 2004, assisting sophisticated commercial real estate investment groups in the acquisition, finance, and leasing of office, retail, multi-family and mixed-use properties throughout Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and beyond.

As a volunteer firefighter, he has received the Firefighter of the Year Award twice (in 2000 and 2014), and has served as the Weston Volunteer Fire Department’s Vice President in 2006 and Secretary in 2001. He also served nine years on the Weston Planning and Zoning Commission including one year as its Vice Chairman and three as its Chairman. During his tenure as Chairman, Weston P&Z developed its 2010 Town Plan of Conservation and Development and undertook a full -cale revision of its regulations. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Aspetuck Land Trust.
