What Makes It "Strong": According to Co-Owner Marie Schlump, it's all about the beans. "We source the most delicious, Fair Trade coffees we can find," she said. "Our coffees are then locally roasted to our exacting flavor standards with the intention of drawing out its best characteristics."
The coffees are then brewed within only days of being roasted for the utmost freshness using filtered water and top of the line brewers. "Our baristas taste our coffee every day to ensure it tastes as it should," she added.
In addition, Cafe Xpresso uses locally sourced milk, from Arethusa Dairy Farm in Litchfield. The cost is more, Schlump noted, but "We believe it makes our coffee drinks taste twice as good."
