MAD Magazine Cartoonist To Describe Creative Process In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- Syndicated cartoonist Maria Scrivan will speak at the Norwalk Public Library on Wednesday, July 13.

Scrivan will share her funniest cartoons from her newspaper comic "Half Full" in a highly visual and entertaining presentation. She will also discuss her career as a syndicated cartoonist and licensing artist, her work for MAD Magazine, and the appearance of her work on national television.

And she'll discuss the commonly-asked question, "Where do you get your ideas?"

Scrivan's panel comic "Half Full" appears daily in newspapers across the U.S., including the LA Times. Her work has been published in many publications, including MAD Magazine and Highlights, and she's appeared in TED Talks and on national television.

This presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in the Main Auditorium. The library is located at 1 Belden Ave.
