NORWALK, Conn. -- The American Job Center Southwest’s Career Coach will be at the Norwalk Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 outside the main library entrance at the corner of Belden and Mott avenues.
Along with the vehicle, job center staff will be available to provide general assistance with job searching, including resume writing and online job applications. All services are free.
The career coach visits towns across southwestern Connecticut each month. In addition to carrying job center staffers, the vehicle has 10 computer work stations with high-speed Internet access, an interview room and a 42-inch plasma TV with smart board overlay.
The vehicle is scheduled to be at the library again on Tuesday, Oct. 4, a stopover that will be dedicated to a Microsoft Excel class.
