Older BSD procedures required in-patient visits to hospitals. With the latest navigation system on-site at CT ENT, it now can be done in-office in about 30 minutes. The navigation system used by CT ENT is called a Fiagon Navigation System, which utilizes a CAT scan and real-time images to guide doctors during operations.
“By pairing the BSD procedure with the Fiagon technology, we can shorten the duration of the process and work with an added safety measure in place,” Weiss said in a statement.
