FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Fairfield County will likely see snow this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
There is an 80 percent chance of snow after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon, with about a half-inch of accumulation expected in most of Fairfield County.
In southern Fairfield County, the rain and snow will become all rain after 7 p.m. with wind chill values between 25 and 30 degrees.
In northern Fairfield County, rain, snow, and sleet will fall between 9 p.m. and midnight with wind chill values between 25 and 30 degrees. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than an inch is possible.
Rain will fall overnight across Fairfield County with temperatures rising to the mid-40s by 5 a.m. Sunday.
Rain will continue on Sunday with a high of 56.
