Rain Falls Into Fairfield County's Forecast

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Keep your umbrella and some warmer clothes handy in Fairfield County this week. Rain and temperatures in the 70s are in the forecast though Friday, the National Weather Service says.

There is a 40 percent chance of rain Tuesday and the high should only hit 70. The rain could continue Tuesday night, when the low will hit 59, the Weather Service says.

On Wednesday, which should be a little warmer, showers could return after 3 p.m. and linger through the night. The low shoots up to the mid-60s Wednesday night, the Weather Service says.

Rain, including thunderstorms and light winds, remain in the foreacst for Thursday and Friday, the weather service says. Temperatures will be in the 70s during the day and in the mid-60s at night.
