FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A push of Arctic air just might bring the first snowflakes of the season to Fairfield County this week, according to Accuweather.com.
Monday will remain sunny and in the 50's. A cold front will move into the region on Tuesday with highs only in the low 40's and dipping down into the 20's at night.
Wednesday will be cold and cloudy with a high of 40.
Then precipitation will move in on Wednesday night into Thursday morning that just might turn over to snow if the temperatures get cold enough.
There is currently only a 35-percent chance of precipitation so it could be rain, it could be a mix, it might be snow -- or it could be nothing at all.
There is even less of a chance of snow closer to the coast.
After a day in the low 40's on Thursday, seasonable temperatures will return on Friday with sunny skies and a high in the low to mid 50's.
