that sounds really good on paper, but if you have actually figured out how to make garbage smell like roses - or not smell at all for that matter - in the heat of summer, please share. what I mean is, what do want them to do? its garbage. garbage smells like garbage. they have to pick it up & move it to one place so that the entire city wont smell like that. a necessary evil if you will. Here's an idea....if you see a transfer station, try not to move in / rent an apartment / buy a house near it. Its been there forever....and now people are complaining? Yes, its horrible, so move if you can, if not, then hold you nose while you pass by I guess.... View Comment

Interesting concept of public housing & low income housing in the same building. What's the actual rent difference? Does anyone think that one family will be happy paying a high rent while sitting next door to another family on public housing, paying next to nothing? I don't think that's really fair either, and I'm sure people are not going to be doing it once they realize their neighbor is getting the same apartment for 1/4 of the price! It's actually insulting.
