Yes, this building has history but it's not an attractive building and the current sidewalk is not wide enough. It would be wonderful to have a link between Washington Street and Marshall Street, with some retail and/or restaurant space on the ground level overlooking the water. This can only happen if the building is set back further from the street. What's more important, redevelopment and revitalization of the area or preservation of a building just for the sake of preservation? View Comment
