I so agree with Tom Armstrong. I understand cyclists enjoy our back roads but when you have cyclists that are in the far right lane and make left hand turns with no indications of doing so, don't get mad at the vehicles that beep the horn! There are so many blind spots in Easton and cyclists make it even more dangerous by being in the middle of roadways! Also, my favorite is vehicles that pass cyclists and cross middle lines when on-coming vehicles are approaching! When are head on crashes legal? View Comment

Maybe a news crew should be called to sit in on a meeting so it can be witnessed, recorded and brought to the publics' attention regarding the lack of constitutional rights regarding any town issue! Oh thats right, we would bring attention to ourselves and maybe not be voted "The Best Little Town in CT". Many times we've read "what a great man and neighbor Tom is"! He might indeed be that but his lack of business skills and running a town are at best disturbing. Maybe he should stick to just "being a good neighbor" ....shame on you Tom! No better way to stay fit BUT I hear from many who ride that motorists are rude and present a danger when they ride. Well seems like rules of the road don't apply to folks on bikes. Numerous times while driving I've had cyclists blow through stop signs, do not signal for turns, make left turns from far right lanes in front of vehicles and hardly ever ride single file. Respect will be given to folks on bikes if they would apply the same rules to their riding experience that motorists have to follow! Be careful out there!!! View Comment

Hmm, was just at town hall and asked the Tax Collector if I could have a refund on my taxes! She looked at me like a deer in headlights! Then asked me, "huh"? I repeated myself and then explained that "being individuals in town don't have to pay taxes I was wondering if I could get a refund" She promptly answered "the town now has the property". Dude, the man was 53 when he chose to stop paying his taxes! Will you start you a trust for me and my family! AND starting out, you want a trust for younger but when a developer wants to create more affordable housing which would provide additional revenue for the town, oh my God, you would think the developers want to bulldoze every tree in Easton......
