Whoa there Mr Norwalk, simmer down.
I'm pretty sure the statement made is to let Norwalkers know that it's not gang related, and poses no threat to the public. There is no further danger to residents due to this incident. View Comment
There is no YMCA of Norwalk to be a member of anymore, so how can a Norwalk resident join the gymnastics studio?
Sounds to me like you have to be a member of the YMCA of Westport, which a Norwalker would have to pay for an out of town membership, to use the place in Norwalk. Sound practical. View Comment
Huh, John Dough's had a Groupon for ages, most recently a few weeks ago. I wonder what will happen for the people who purchased them.
Tim's Philly Steaks was an odd choice for that location. I never saw anyone in the place. Good luck to the new tenant! View Comment
"Both the union and the BOE have a mutual interest in getting the best superintendent"
Were you able to keep a straight face when you typed that? Because I have to wholeheartedly disagree. View Comment
Look, all the trolling and fake posting aside, I don't see why this is necessary. At the end of the day too many lives were lost and their poor families and loved ones have to live with that grief and loss everyday. To have this information and opening this can of worms again can only do more harm to them.
I don't know any involved, yet I feel extremely protective of them. The public does not need to know the details and open those wounds again. In my unpolitical opinion Larry Cafero is a jerk for pushing the issue. View Comment
It's ironic to me that I rarely see a post about the positive outcomes of having Moccia as our mayor. Yet he keeps getting re-elected.
Also, this is not some super duper secret back room conversation at the Pentagon. It don't know why Moccia has his knickers in a twist over what happened. Unless he said or did something that he is not proud of. *gasp*
The only outcome is that the Daily Voice lost their best reporter and their stories have gone downhill. There really is no good reporting on our area now. So I'll blame that on Moccia too ;) View Comment
I think it is important to remember that the guns used were not obtained legally and they were weapons that were grandfathered in. Instead of protesting gun shows, why don't we stop grandfathering semiautomatic weapons designed to kill as many people in as little time as possible? To me that's the issue, not gun shows.
Personally I don't "get" gun shows just like I don't "get" boat shows, but to each their own. lol View Comment
Please tell me there is more to this story. Because it was cold (hence the clothing), and rainy (hence the umbrella), and the bearded hat's are popular these days, and to me it sounds clever to have an umbrella that you can carry on your back instead of in your hand.
What is the real reason he was charged with breach of peace? And what happened to the person that made the call resulting in a lockdown of the schools and another media storm? View Comment
Norwalk is a hot mess. From the Common Council to the Mayor's office to the Board of Ed. This town is self destructing and there is nothing we citizens can do but watch it all happen. Answers are hard to come by, and no one can seem to work together, and all the mayor does is huff and puff.
For shame! View Comment
