I have been a registered democrat my whole voting life, however this election I will not be voting for Obama, Murphy, or Himes. Obama has been so ineffective in fixing the economy for the past four years, Murphy, well enough said, and as far as Himes goes, I met his opponent this week and he made a whole lot of sense. Steve Obsitnik believes in term limits, and working for his constituents, and will not take the golden retirement and health care package. Enough said! View Comment

What downtown areas? Because of the poor insight of P and Z all Norwalk has is a bunch ugly strip malls and big box stores. All Mom and Pop operations are gone. Now Norwalk even looks "blue colar". View Comment

In light of the current violence in SoNo, I think tree frog may be on to something, especially mandatory drug testing. The violence seems to be worse since the Police Dept. Building was moved to South Main St. View Comment

When the citizens of Norwalk take some interest in local government, things might improve. I was sitting with the mayor at a public function prior to the elections and he felt he didn't have to do anything to be re-elected. The public school debacle was the beginning of some public interest ( and yes, dare I say, fury) at the huge problems in the Public Schools. I still do fairly well at Jeopardy, using the education I received in the Norwalk Public School system, I doubt your children will be able to say the same. It is up to the parents in this town to see to that their children get the best education possible. View Comment
