The owner of this home passed away memorial day weekend. These guys showed up to mow the lawn telling a neighbor that the bank had hired them to mow the lawn. On Wednesday, they broke into the home but it wasn't realized until after the fact. The Massachusetts plate was noticed by a neighbor, but police didn't think it was enough to go on. Unbelieveably, they came back on Sunday...no the grass hadn't grown back, they just hadn't finished going through the entire house. Thankfully this time someone called the police and they were caught in the act. This isn't the first time there has been a theft on property that is vacant, by people claiming to have been hired by the bank to mow the lawn. Although this fact hasn't been confirmed as of yet, beware of lawn service people in vacant homes. Neighbors keep your eyes and ears open. View Comment
