That is so amazing. And a big THANK YOU to the parents of these young people who have obviously raised them right! Giving is what it is all about, and as a local service provider, we appreciate you joining us in the fight against poverty for at-risk families.

Congratulations Rev. Story! I have been living on Villaway for about 10 years. My kids were 5 & 7 when they were first exposed to Rev. Story. They are now 15 & 17. He drove their bus all the way through elementary school. He is a decent man, a man with integrity and valor, and he always, always has a smile on his face. It was a pleasure to wave and smile back at him every morning while the kids boarded the school bus and again right before he drove off. Even when my kids were long gone from Marvin and to this day, he will still throw up an enthusiastic wave at me when he sees me.
You just don't find good souls like that these days anymore. The fact that he is a Minister is awesome, it explains the fact that he has the patience of Job. Who wouldn't, having to deal with screaming kids for a couple of hours straight every day?
The bus drivers in our town do not get half the credit that they deserve. Transporting our children back & forth to school is probably the most important job outside of the educators and everyone else who plays a vital role in their upbringing.
Please remember to say THANK YOU to your child(ren)'s bus drivers. They are hard working individuals just like the rest of us, and don't they deserve it? If I were a bus driver, I would want someone to occasionally show me some appreciation. Folks would be real surprised how far Please, Thank you, Ma'am, and Sir go! Those 'seemingly' little things may mean a lot to someone, especially if they are going through something at the time.
Good luck to you Rev. Story, and may God receive you into his kingdom with open arms!
