They don't hate us because Obama goes on apology tours. They hate us--more of them every day--because we kill their children with drones, bombs, and things like white phosphorus, that we give the Israelis to use on them. We deserved 9/11; and we deserved Boston. The innocents did not deserve to die, but neither do the innocents of their countries. We have people sitting in air-conditioned rooms in Nevada-- coffee cups no doubt on their desks--moving a mouse around to shoot Hellfire missiles, from drones, at likely terrorist targets (weddings and funerals are a favorite) on the other side of the world. These missiles kill (sometimes) some "terrorist", while massacring children, women, and old people who happen to be nearby. Then we wonder why, and get hysterical over, a 9/11 attack or a Boston bombing. We had 9/11 coming to us, and Boston as well. And more of these tragedies lie in our future unless we stop our mass-murders in the middle east, stop these stupid wars against all Israel's enemies, and come home, for good, and clean up the bankrupt mess this country has become. This police chief is doing what he is paid for: telling parents his department's plans for providing security for the schools. This is completely different from the camera- hogging publicity hound in Redding, who goes on TV, dramatically urging political action against the rights of gun owners, and the size of magazines he feels they should be allowed, based on his vast combat and law enforcement experience. The Weston Chief should be commended; Fuchs, in Redding should be fired, or, at a minimum, told to quit and run for political office. View Comment
