I have not been critical of Dr. Marks for delays in releasing a revised reconciliation plan. I am thankful she released her revised plan in advance of the BET meeting for parents to review. I was under the assumption that the current plan could not be looked at until after tonight's decision, and was only made aware it was forthcoming hours before it was released. I remain hopeful that the BET will come through with additional funding to help the BOE make the best decisions they can for our school children.
I believe we are all doing our best under these difficult circumstances. Although we may have differing opinions on how to tackle our problems, the ultimate goal for all of us is to keep our schools productive and safe.
Thank you,

The parent activist has resigned her position in her former school district because her heart belongs with the children of Norwalk. She is unemployed as of midnight June 30, 2012. View Comment
