Expect Delays: Long Ridge Road Resurfacing Starts

There will be lane closures in Stamford for several days as crews begin a road resurfacing project in on Long Ridge Road.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that beginning on Monday, May 14, there will be a 2.7-mile project performed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the road that is expected to last through Friday, May 18.

During the scope of the project, lane closures have been scheduled on Long Ridge Road from the .28 mile north of Route 15 underpass to the 0.11 mile south of Riverbank Road. Detours will be posted and there will be flaggers in the area to assist with the flow of traffic.
