NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Lash VW Warriors defeated the Laurel Club Rockets, 7-5, to win the Norwalk Athletic Association Division 3 softball championship.

Mariah Ventrella pitched seven strong innings for the Warriors, while catcher Sam Troetti was steady behind home plate.

Nicole Bonnani, Messica Giglio and Rebecca Link starred defensively. Alli Hall, Mallory Rochefort, Jenna Casolo, Gabby Arena, Brianna Curran, Kristin Carreira, Alexia Pote, Stephanie Bassett and Arianna D’Agostino paced the offense.
