STAMFORD, Conn. – Freshman Kelsey Cognetta of Stamford has made an immediate impact on the women’s basketball team at Keene State in New Hampshire.
Cognetta scored 12 points and played 23 minutes for Keene (4-6) on Tuesday in a 58-57 win over Colby College in the consolation game of the Keene State Holiday Tournament. She grabbed the final rebound when Colby missed a jumper with three seconds left, and Keene ran out the clock.

In her first game with Keene on Monday, Cognetta scored six points in 11 minutes in a 72-67 loss to Rivier.
