The Park City SportsFest presented by People's United Bank returns to Bridgeport as part of the 2011 MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships festivities. The sixth annual SportsFest takes place Saturday, March 5, from 1 to 5 p.m. in Bridgeport. The event was also part of the 2007 MAAC tournament.

ParkCity SportsFest is a free event designed for family fun. The fan festival includes interactive and educational activities from an assortment of sports and fitness-related organizations. The Bridgeport Sound Tigers , the First Tee youth golf, Martial Arts Spirit Academy and Simone Lima's Zumba program are already committed to participate.

The venue this year will be a large heated tent stationed at Frontage Road and Main Street. Music and entertainment will also be part of SportsFest, and food vendors will be on site. As in past SportsFests, sports personalities will be signing free autographs. This year's participants will be announced soon.
