Slammer Tennis World Of Norwalk Registering For Weekend, Night Classes

NORWALK, Conn. -- Slammer Tennis World of Norwalk is registering children and adults for its evening and weekend programs.

The programs are run in collaboration with Norwalk Recreation and Parks. Programs are for Pee-Wee, Junior and adult tennis players at the beginner and intermediate level.

The Youth program (Pee Wee: ages 5 to 8; Juniors: ages 9 to 16) will be offered at the Norwalk High School Tennis courts. The Adult Program (age 17 and older) will use the courts at Mathews Park tennis courts.

A session will last three weeks with two classes per week for a total of six classes per session. All students must bring their own tennis racquets and sneakers to class. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

Pee Wee classes will be 30 minutes long, Junior classes will be 45 minutes long and Adult classes will meet for an hour.
