Seal At Norwalk's Maritime Aquarium Making Super Bowl Pick

NORWALK, Conn. – Polly the Seal will make her Super Bowl XLIX pick at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 11:45 a.m.

Polly is trained to leap straight out of the water and touch a suspended yellow ball with her nose. During the aquarium’s first public seal feeding Thursday, Polly will be given a choice of suspended pennants representing the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. Two out of three will determine her choice.

To date, the Aquarium’s seals are 0-3 in their picks. Rasal the seal picked New England two years ago, and Orange the seal chose the 49ers in 2013 and the Broncos in 2014.

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is located at 10 N. Water St. if you want to join in on the pre-Super Bowl fun.
