Former FBI Director Louis Freeh criticized the university’s top officials for failing to act on information that Sandusky had molested children on school grounds. Sandusky, a former defensive coordinator under Paterno, is in jail awaiting sentencing after being found guilty on 45 charges of sexually abusing 10 boys over a period of 15 years.

According to the Freeh investigation, Penn State officials concealed information to avoid bad publicity.

I'm glad the commissioner punished the football program because so many administrators did nothing and let that creep get away with his behavior. Doing nothing meant the program and school thrived and took in revenue while these kids suffered. Now they owe it back - big time. I hope Jerry gets his in prison.
