The meet featured teams from the United States and Canada. Xtreme added a second, third and sixth in one of competitive cheerleading's top events.

The International Open Coed level 5 Inferno won first place for Xtreme. The team is for ages 14 and up and includes all of the Xtreme coaches.

Senior Level 2 Shine also took first and won a bid to The Summit, which will be held at ESPN's  Wide World of Sports in Orlando. The Summit is the most prestigious cheerleading competition. It started last year and two Xtreme teams made the competition.

Shine is only the second team in the United States that has made it in their division thus far. Only the top 10 percent teams in the country qualify for this event.

Also in Providence, Youth level 2 Radiance (children ages 11-and-under) took sixth; Senior Coed level 3 Blaze (children 18-and-under) took second and Senior Coed level 5 (18 and under) took third. The level number indicates the degree of difficulty of the elements in the routines.

Xtreme's New York team competed at event at John Jay High School and took a first with the Junior Level 2 Spark, a second with the Minis Level 1 dash and a third with the Youth Level 1 Glitter. Spark, for children ages 14-and-under, was grand champions.
