Norwalk's Eileen Ornousky Earns All-Academic Honor At Colgate

NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk’s Eileen Ornousky, a former three-sport standout at Trinity Catholic in Stamford, has been named the Patriot League All-Academic team for softball. She is a junior at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.

Ornousky, a history major, has a 3.32 grade-point average. She played in 31 games for Colgate, and had nine multi-hit games. She also had 16 RBIs and cracked three doubles.

Colgate teammate Emmie Dolfi also made the all-academic team. Colgate plays Lehigh on Thursday in the first round of the Patriot League tournament. Colgate is seeking its fourth league title, and first since 2007.
