Norwalk Youth Wrestling Team Hits The Mats For New Season

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Youth Wrestling program will launch its new season with its first practice on Monday Oct. 19, at Norwalk High School.

Practices are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45 p.m to 7:30 p.m. in the Norwalk High School wrestling room. The season runs from mid-October through March 2016.

The Norwalk youth wrestling “Mad Bulls” is one of the largest and most successful youth wrestling programs in Connecticut, offering beginner and advanced wrestling instruction, local competition with several New England, Regional and national caliber events.

Open enrollment is for K-8th grade boys and girls looking to learn the fundamentals of youth wrestling with a focus on technical instruction and overall physical fitness. No previous wrestling experience is necessary. Kids are grouped by age, weight and ability and coached by USA Wrestling certified instructors.
