The Norwalk PAL Cougars advanced to the championship game by defeating the Laurel Athletic Club Dolphins, 11-0, in a semifinal matchup of Division 2 of the Norwalk Athletic Association softball league.

Mariah Ventrella was the winning pitcher, hurling a 1-hit shutout. The Cougars jumped out in front early with the offense being led by Jillian Howe and Dina DiBlasio. The Cougar scoring was later highlighted by a three-run triple by Summer Stamp, who was later driven in by a Sophia Valiante double. Gabby Arena and Mackenzie Stamp had excellent defensive games for the Cougars. In Division 1, the Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Saints played the Rex Marina Bears. Riley Page and Jordan Hogan had base hits and Juliette Garvey and Elizabeth Simo worked walks against the hard-throwing Bears. Noelle Ragusa, Cathy Colmenares and Margaret O'Connor made strong plays in the field for the Saints. In the game between The Batter's Box Wildcats and The New England Oil Hawks, the Wildcats were hot at the plate, with Tina Boyian, Dori Bartush, Sam Pierre, Erica Gigilio and Jen Garcia scoring runs. Grace Potochney, Jackie Tessier, Shea Balducci and Mia Lanzurotto added RBIs for the win. Defensively, Dori Bartush, Grace Potochney and Erica Gigilio had eight strikeouts.

Carlie LaRochelle had two hits and two RBIs as the Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Saints were defeated by the Sting. Faith Vuoso singled and joined Riley Page and Juliette Garvey in reaching base twice for the Saints. Garvey led the defensive effort, supported by solid play from Elizabeth Simo, Michelle Menard, Julia Breen and Jolie Lubin.

In a game between the Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Saints and The Untouchables, Riley Page had two hits and three RBIs as the Saints fell to the Untouchables from New Canaan. Julia Breen drove in one run and scored two, Jessica Parker and Carlie LaRochelle each had an RBI, and Noelle Ragusa scored two runs to pace the offense. The trio, along with Margaret O'Connor, Faith Vuoso and Jolie Lubin, contributed hits to the effort, while Jordan Hogan and Isabella Vuoso scored runs after working walks. Esabella Troisi gamely played on after being hit by a pitch. The Batter's Box Wildcats met the New Canaan Pumas, and Jen Garcia scored 2 runs for the Wildcats, Dori Bartush was 2 for 3, scoring a run, Sam Pierre had an RBI and scored a run, Shea Balducci added an RBI, Lila Young, Marion Yingling and Carly DiMichael all scored runs, and Erica Gigilio had an RBI.

The Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Saints met the New England Oil Hawks. Carlie LaRochelle had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored and Faith Vuoso had three hits and two RBIs to lead the Saints in a high-scoring matchup. Cathy Colmenares and Noelle Ragusa each had two hits and two RBIs, while Julia Breen, Riley Page and Margaret O'Connor chipped in a hit and an RBI apiece. Jessica Parker, Isabella Vuoso and Jordan Hogan also drove in runs for the Saints. Esabella Troisi scored two runs and Juliette Garvey one to round out the scoring. Page was involved in four putouts in the field. For the New England Oil Hawks, Katie DiJoseph led the way with two hits and three RBIs. Emily Faroni, Lauren Mirabella and Brynn Spielman each had one hit and one RBI. Emily Pollard had one hit and contributed two RBIs. Kim Thorme had 2 RBIs and played great defensively. Emily Pinto had two hits and an unassisted double play to end the game.

The Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital Saints met the hard—throwing Pumas of New Canaan, and Margaret O'Connor doubled in two runs and Juliette Garvey, Michelle Menard, Carlie LaRochelle and Faith Vuoso each had an RBI. Esabella Troisi, Jolie Lubin, Isabella Vuoso and Cathy Colmenares contributed hits to the cause. LaRochelle and Noelle Ragusa led the defense with two putouts apiece.

The New England Oil Hawks played the Oilers and Emily Pinto was stellar on the mound with six strikeouts in three innings. She also had an RBI. Kim Thorme had two RBIs and made a great defensive tag at the plate. Sophia Lindsay had one hit and one RBI. Katie DiJoseph and Emily Faroni chipped in one hit each, Sharon Fernandez scored two runs and Madison Riascos scored a run. Emily Pollard chipped in with an RBI. Kate Riordan pitched great in the last inning, striking out a batter to end the game.
