Norwalk (6-2-1) will face the New Britain Hurricanes for the title. New Britain has defeated Norwalk twice already this season.

The Chargers returned a fumble for the opening score. Norwalk responded with a 59-yard kickoff return by Joshua Samuels, setting the Packers up at the 7-yard line. Quarter Kyle Gordon threw a quick strike to Hunter Parks in the corner of the end zone and Jeff Cocchia pounded in for the extra point as the Packers took a 7-6 lead.

The defense took over, lead by Jeff Cocchia who recorded three  sacks, Jermaine "Whooper" Williams, and Samuels who each contributed with one sack. Jermaine Daniels, Patrick Coulter, Brian Ehlers, Jajuan Wiggins and Solomon Wyclif were other defensive stalwarts. Ryan Whitney recovered two huge fumbles to help stall the Charger offense and Michael Propersi had two pass breakups.

By far the biggest play of the game came down to the foot of Cocchia as the Packers were pinned down at their own 15-yard line. Cocchia nailed a 43 yard punt to give the Packers defense room to continue their dominance.

The Packer offense responded with two scoring drives capped off with an 11 yard touchdown run by Tyler Sisko and a 10 yard touchdown run by Jakari Walker behind the blocking of rookie right tackle William "BK" King filling in for the injured veteran Nicholas DiIorio.

Center Connor Barton also played admirably against a much bigger opponent at nose guard for the Chargers.

The Packers only losses this season came against New Britain. Norwalk has shut out four opponents, and allowed just 25 points in its seven other games.
