Middle School standouts Dean Tsiranides and Jeff Cocchia and Connecticut State Champion Jason Singer all placed third. Nick Fatone, Nick Augeri and Mike Bartush finished fourth. Mikey Schneider finished sixth.

“Some kids that did not place at the New England’s have gained some valuable experience for the future and continue to show up to practice to train with those that will advance as the Mad Bulls go deeper into competition,'' coach Art Schad said.

"Some of our kids have had 60 plus matches this year,'' Schad said. "We preach about a resume building mentality, meaning we are not so concerned about wins and losses as we are about finding the best competition out there to challenge our wrestlers to push them to their limits and make them better wrestlers. I can only imagine what this young group of kids will be doing when they reach high school, right now they are working extremely hard every single day to be the best that they can be, all while remaining humble.”
