Gouin is the son of Dan and Kathy Gouin. His father is the head football coach at King.

A four-year starter at King, the 6-foot, 2-inch, 280-pound Gouin started and played in 34 consecutive games. At center on offense, he amassed over 81 pancake blocks his senior year and 55 in his junior year.

When he injured his snapping hand in the second quarter of his last home game against a tough Rye Country Day team, Gouin switched to his nondominant hand to finish the game and help his team secure a share of the 2014 Fairchester Athletic Association title.

On defense as a senior, he played defensive end accumulating 30 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, four tackles for loss and one sack. From the middle linebacker position his junior year, he racked up 30 solo tackles, 34 assisted tackles, four tackles for loss and one forced fumble.

Tucker, a two-year captain, was selected as a member of the NEPSAC Football All-New England Team and the FAA Football All-League Team in both 2013 and 2014.

“At age 2-and-a-half, I stood on the sidelines and dreamed of playing football for my dad,'' Tucker said. "Growing up, I was lucky enough to witness, live, and breath the immense work ethic in players like Nate Collins (former Chicago Bears), Silas Redd (Washington Redskins) and, of course, Kevin Pierre-Louis (Seattle Seahawks).

"At the end of this season, I felt honored to have been able to play for four years for a coach like my father. And even more honored that for my senior year, my younger brother, Kelly was able to play along side me for my dad, too. But, being recognized by the other coaches in New England is a privilege, and I credit the coaches and all the other players that came before me at King in the past 15 years for helping me earn this distinction.”

Gouin plans to showcase his athletic and academic talents in college next season at one of the New England Small Schools Athletic Conference, with Wesleyan University being the frontrunner.
