NORWALK, Conn. – Baseball results from the Cranbury League:

Mustang Division (ages 9-10 years)

Gutter Guys 3, Vat Heating & Plumbing 2: Nathan Bennett had a hit and made several excellent plays in the field in the win. Gavin Kee had a hit and Ryan Whitney pitched and had a hit in support of the win. Kaden Lints and Tyler Cappadona pitched in the win. Kevin Feighery had two hits and an RBI while Jake Palmer had a hit and an RBI in the losing effort. Shane Tracy and Ian Aanovic pitched for Vat Heating and Plumbing.

Tim's Philly Steak 8, Village Gourmet 3 : Tim's Philly Steaks got out to a quick start scoring six runs in the first inning. Luke Dube started and pitched three perfect innings and also chipped in with two hits. Travis Lajoie had three hits, while Brendan Edvardsen also had two hits. William Edvardsen had a hit and an RBI, Luca Piacenza pitched an inning and had a hit with two RBI, and Evan Donhue had a long double. Village Gourmet was led by Ryan Trani, who pitched three innings and had a hit, and Sean Murawski, who pitched 3 innings of 1 run baseball and hit a booming double.

Bronco Division (ages 11-12 years)

Crown Trophy 12, DJK Fuel 6 : Marco Monteiro had a great game, pitching four innings with 10 strikeouts, and giving up only three runs. Matt Troy pitched three innings with five strikeouts and giving up three runs. Crown had a great relay in the top of the seventh inning by right fielder Liam Blair, second baseman Jake Trani and third baseman Jack Carlucci, taking away a triple from a DJK batter. Matt Troy went 2-for-3 with a base-clearing triple in the bottom of the third, while Jack Carlucci had a double in the fifth with one RBI.  Ryan Williams had an RBI single, Thomas Troy went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles and Jake Trani also singled.

Laurel AC 9, O'Neill's 6: Quinn Sandor went 4–for-4 at the plate with three singles and a double. Sandor also had four RBIs and scored twice for Laurel. Justin Buswell hit an RBI double while Alec Parker hit two singles and drove in one run. Eddie McCabe hit a single with a RBI and capitalized on a walk and hit by pitch. McCabe stole four bases and scored three runs. Pitching duties were shared by both Sandor and Eddie McCabe, with each throwing three-plus innings. Ari Lander went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and scored one run for O’Neill’s. Chris Clemens hit a long RBI double. Ari Lander, A.J. Hall and Zach Hurd pitched for O'Neill's.
