The tournament is being played at Tim Devine Field, which is adjacent to the senior center. The seniors made a banner for the team.

One senior center member spoke with the players about playing amid rocks and glass at Veterans Park in the 1950s, and watching Lou Gehrig and other Major League stars from the 1930s.

The All-Stars donated the championship trophy they won at a tournament in Bethel earlier this summer to the seniors.

Norwalk opened play Sunday with a 12-0 win over Hebron. Norwalk plays its next game Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. against New Milford. Games will be played throughout the week, with the championship game scheduled for Saturday.
